Abstract

Recently, there has been an increase in the incidence of neurosyphilis amidst the reduced prevalence of syphilis. This disease is difficult to diagnose due to broad range of possible symptoms. The clinical case of late neurosyphilis with rapidly progressive symptoms is reported to draw the attention of medical professionals to the need for timely and careful diagnosis.

Key words: neurosyphilis, clinical case, diagnosis of syphilis.
