Abstract

Artificial left ventricle is increasingly used to treat patients with end-stage heart failure. Our report is devoted to a rare complication of cardiac surgical practice, but with an extremely high mortality rate – acute non-occlusive mesenteric intestinal ischemia.
Keywords: non-occlusive mesenteric ischemia, chronic heart failure, left ventricular assist device.
