Clinical review for general practice

The problem of identifying the level of self-esteem in adolescent girls with impaired reproductive function is considered in an interdisciplinary aspect at the interface of psychology and gynecology as a condition that requires psychotherapeutic support after the detection of this condition. A vicious circle is formed in adolescent girls after menstrual irregularities are detected, while violations of both an intrapersonal and interpersonal nature are revealed, associated with self-perception and from others in the presence of ovarian or uterine diseases. A study conducted in the Department of Pediatric Gynecology at the Kulakov National Research Medical Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology showed a decrease in the level of self-esteem and self-esteem among adolescent girls with identified pathologies from the reproductive organs, which requires timely identification of changes in psychological response and the possibility of proper formation of an optimal psychological state of interaction with oneself and others.
