Abstract
Modern cancer treatments, including surgical interventions, chemotherapy and radiation therapy, often adversely affect reproductive function in women of childbearing age. This makes fertility preservation methods, particularly controlled ovarian stimulation, especially relevant. The article presents a comparative analysis of antiestrogens (Tamoxifen) and aromatase inhibitors (Letrozole) for ovulation induction in cancer patients. The efficacy, safety and specific features of these drugs in the context of fertility preservation are examined.
